First Mandatory Preseason Meeting for Spring 2018
The first mandatory preseason meeting for the Spring 2018 Baltimore Beltway Soccer League will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the White Marsh Public Library, 8133 Sandpiper Circle, Nottingham, MD 21236 (across from White Marsh Mall). Any team planning to play in the Spring 2018 league must attend one of the mandatory preseason meetings.
Per the mandate of the United States Soccer Federation, the format of play for all U-9 and U-10 age groups will be 7 vs. 7 and the format of play for all U-11 and U-12 age groups will be 9 vs. 9. Rostering for the U-12 and younger age groups may be done either through the MSYSA or U.S. Club Soccer. However, the maximum roster size will vary between the two organizations. For teams using the MSYSA for rostering, the maximum number of players will be 12 players for the U-9 and U-10 age groups and 16 players for the U-11 and U-12 age groups. For teams using U.S. Club Soccer for rostering, the maximum number of players will be 14 players for the U-9 and U-10 age groups and 16 players for the U-11 and U-12 age groups. All U-13 and older teams must roster through the MSYSA. Any U-12 team wishing to play in the Maryland State Cup and using this league as their qualifying league must roster through the MSYSA.
The primary day of for all age groups will be Sunday. There will be some Saturday games in order to accommodate scheduling requests.
